I’m staying until tomorrow in our family’s favourite holiday hotel, Fort Royal in Rathmullen, Co Donegal. It’s a very beautiful spot on the edge of Lough Swilly and the hotel owners have been friends of ours since before I was actually born! Mum and I have been out walking, golfing and in my case swimming. Gorgeous scenery, vegetation and marine life have all been avidly photographed to include some in a new notebook I’m hoping to get finished sometime over the next couple of weeks, perfect for inspiration in the depths of winter!
